The Dayton Brand was born out of East Van’s storied Lumbermen’s Social Club – operated by its legendary club manager, Charlie Wohlford. Loggers who frequented Charlie’s club were having difficulty getting their boots properly repaired. Late one evening when Charlie wasn’t pouring whiskies and beer, he said he would fix all the logger’s boots. Pedriks Studios were tasked with rejuvenating a rather dated brand on multiple platforms and bringing it to a contemporary audience.
